Daily Thoughts - Beware The Dodgy Freedom Salesman

They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved. (2 Peter 2:19)

‘I couldn’t help it’.

You may remember the initial question of whether you were a slave or not. As you chose to carry on with your daily activities with the choices open to you in so many areas, the answer to this issue would appear to be that we were all free. Yet whether it’s nicotine addiction, temper challenges or a critical attitude there are things that overcome us leaving us with these four pitiful words.

Be careful of some who may promote freedom only to find out that they too are confined by similar corrupting elements.
