TONEX performing Since Jesus Came with Kirk Franklin

I love the vibe on this track and the gifted dancers really show up. I still love some Tonex stuff he be a maverick creative kinda hombre alright. It's been a while since I've bothered checking anything of his, but I'm sure he hasn't lost that creativity that make songs like this so enjoyable.

Hey bro,

Tonex has actually fallen off the wagon my friend. Check the web for what he has been up to for awhile. Not to mention I love the brothers music, but he is a Oneness Pentecostal who I have dialogued with quite a bit about his positions on tongues the evidence of salvation, the neccessity to baptized in Jesus name and other very faulty doctrinal positions. But he has left the "church" and is doing other things right now.

Lionel - or is that Lionel Wodos (and here I was thinking it was Woods). Thanks so much for dropping by and leaving a comment. I checked the link you left and it highlighted almost the tragic nature of some gifted artists to deliberately be provocative and stretch themselves beyond what's necessary to get the message across. It's hard at times to do anything but genuinely compassionately cry out to God for people who are so talented and write such beautiful songs and yet ... Are you saying I should check his site to see what he's up to now? I wonder what it means to have left the 'church' in his case?

Thanks again Lionel.
